Information

 

Serving: Northern New England, including Dartmouth College and Williams College.

Kent and Denise currently serve in direct ministry outreach at Dartmouth and Williams. Kent served as the Program Director for the 2006 National Faculty Leadership Conference in Washington, D.C. As part of a "working sabbatical" they will be based primarily in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area during the 2005-2006 school year.

Their full-time ministres among college students began in 1978 and 1981 respectively. They transitioned from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island to faculty ministry at Dartmouth and beyond in 1988, and have continued to serve in Hanover, New Hampshire since that time.

The Dahlbergs have three nearly grown children--a son and two daughters who are college-age.

     

Education

 

Kent: B.S. in Biology/Pre-Med from University of Illinois. Graduate work in theology at the International School of Theology and Westminster College, Oxford.

Denise: B.A. in Romance Languages (Spanish, French and Italian) from West Chester University in Pennsylvania. Graduate work in theology at the International School of Theology.

     

Favorite book

 

Kent: Spirit of the Disciplines by Dallas Willard and The Complete Poetry of Robert Frost.

Denise: Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkkein and The Chosen by Chaim Potok.

     

Claim to fame

 

Kent: Bagging a hole-in-one on the signature hole of a top-100-in-the-U.S. golf course (#15 at Troon Country Club in Arizona), while my non-golfing wife just happened to be watching.
