Serving: North Carolina State University, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Duke University, East Carolina University and universities in North Carolina

Larry and Teresa joined FC staff in 2002 to work with professors and Christian faculty groups in the North Carolina Triangle area. They help Christian faculty identify and implement effective ways to be salt and light for Christ in the university and make a difference in the academic community.

 

Before joining FC they served in the CCC Campus Ministry for 23 years at several universities. Teresa has also worked with CCC's music ministry, traveling as a piano accompanist for one of the performing groups.

 

They have two elementary-age children and one in middle-school. Free time is spent at their kids' soccer games, or camping and bicycling as a family in the beautiful countryside near their Raleigh , North Carolina home.

     

Education

 

Larry: B.S., Civil Engineering, University of Wyoming, 1975; M.S.E., Transportation Engineering, University of Texas at Austin, 1981; International School of Theology, two years of theological studies.

Teresa : B.A., Music: Piano Performance, Appalachian State University, 1982; International School of Theology, one year of theological studies.

     

Favorite book

 

Larry: The Sacred Romance by Curtis and Eldredge.

Teresa : Shepherding a Child's Heart by Tedd Tripp.

     

Claim to fame

 

Larry: High School Tennis Team, State Champions of Wyoming.

Teresa : For five years, typed the play-by-play action (on mimeograph masters) for her college football and basketball games for immediate release to the press.
