Information

Serving: University of South Carolina

Phil and Kay have been on our FC team since 1988 mentoring and encouraging Christian faculty in the southeastern part of the U.S. They desire to serve as a catalyst to the integration of the Christian world view, bringing it back to prominence in the “marketplace of ideas” and again see it, and thus the Christian gospel, embraced by students and faculty alike. The nation and world can then be positively influenced for Christ, contributing significantly to the fulfillment of the Great Commission.

The Luthers first joined the staff of Campus Crusade in 1976, serving at the University of Minnesota and ministering to students. Then they were asked to direct the Minnesota Campus Ministry Staff Training Center while also directing the campus ministry at the University of Minnesota and 17 other colleges in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. Between 1985 and1988 they served on the Here’s Life America team in Minneapolis .
