Serving: Michigan State University, the University of Michigan, Central Michigan University and universities in Michigan
Charlie and Chrissie work to establish Christian Faculty Fellowships on campuses throughout Michigan that help connect faculty with other believers and equip and mobilize them to reach their campuses and disciplines for Christ. These faculty ministries include strategies for reaching colleagues, graduate students, international students, undergraduates, and reaching their discipline through the integration of their faith into their teaching and research.
Chrissie joined CCC staff in 1975, and worked with the campus ministry at the University of Illinois , Chicago Circle . They married in 1976, and Charlie joined CCC staff. They were involved in campus ministry giving leadership to teams at Portland State University , Mankato State University in Minnesota , University of Pittsburgh , and Michigan State University . Now that they are on FC staff, they are involved in the faculty ministry at Michigan State and oversee FC work on other campuses in Michigan .
They live in East Lansing , Michigan and have three daughters—two in college and one in high school. All three of their daughters are musically talented, which has prompted Charlie's brothers to observe that he is "proof positive that talent skips every other generation." They love to visit the many beautiful sites in their Great Lakes State , especially the scores of lighthouses along Michigan 's shoreline.
