Rich and Bonnie have served with FC since 1982. Rich leads the Conferences Team which includes directing CLM's biennial National Faculty Leadership Conference. He began his service with FC as director of the faculty ministry at SMU and since then has held a variety of leadership positions in our corporate office. Rich joined Campus Crusade staff upon graduation from Texas Tech, ministering for six years to students at LSU, University of Southern Mississippi and other campuses in the southeast. He then attended Dallas Theological Seminary 1977-1981, receiving a Master of Theology degree in Old Testament.
Bonnie works in our Human Resources department and is involved in a variety of projects involving staff development. In addition to her FC responsibilities, Bonnie has developed a ministry called Souled Out Community Youth Group for at-risk teens. Each summer since 1995 she has taken a busload of inner-city teens to Kids Across America, a week-long camp which is part of the Kanakuk-Kanakomo youth camps in Missouri .
Bonnie enjoys beach vacations, reading, and University of Texas football. Rich’s hobbies include reading (history, theology, science) and sports. The McGees have three children: a daughter who graduated from SMU in accounting, a daughter who is a University of Texas graduate in Spanish and education, and a son still at the University of Texas —he is also the kickoff man and punter on the UT football team.
