Claim to fame

In high school, I was just learning to play tennis and joined the school tennis team. The state tournaments were coming and I knew I could not play. The day before the tournament, the girl who played on the doubles team broke her ankle and could not play. To keep our team in the tournament the doubles team had to be on the court so they put me in as “filler.” My partner and I won the first match; then the other matches. To sum up a long day….we won the state tournament for our school in the doubles division.
