John and Cathy Myers have been full-time staff members with Campus Crusade for Christ serving with FC since 1990. They live in Birmingham , Alabama where John directs the Strategic Resources Team for FC. Strategic Resources includes Internet sites (www.LeaderU.com, www.FacultyLinc.com), ministry resources such as the Conversations CD (www.LeaderU.com/Conversations), brochures, and training materials that help reach professors for Christ and equip Christian professors for ministry. John also takes opportunities to be a part of faculty ministries on nearby campuses such as Auburn University and the University of Alabama .
John and Cathy met through Campus Crusade for Christ as college students and John grew up "on staff" as his parents were and still are on staff with Campus Crusade. Campus Crusade has been an important component in the Myers family.
John and Cathy have two children and their family spends much of their free time camping, exploring, rock climbing and generally enjoying the great outdoors.
