Personal
Information

Dave and Pam serve FC on our Strategic Resources team helping to develop creative ideas, resources, and strategies to address critical issues in the academy that are roadblocks to the spread of the gospel. Dave seeks ways to gain a hearing for Christ with non-believing faculty and find ways to mobilize and resource Christian faculty for ministry, especially those on campuses with no FC staff or faculty fellowship groups.

Dave opened the ministry for Faculty Commons in Atlanta by establishing a faculty fellowship group at Georgia Tech and in 1996 helped found Metro Atlanta Faculty Commons. This group sponsored a satellite downlink for Faith and Science Lecture Forum events in 1998, 1999, and 2000. Dave recently completed a Master of Theology in Applied Theology from the University of Oxford . Pam is Dave’s behind the scenes administrative support.

Before joining FC staff, Dave and Pam worked in various other CCC ministry divisions: Josh McDowell Ministry, Master’s Production Company, Keynote Communications (two national tours with “The Convertibles”), and the Church Resource Group—working in Philippines and Russia .

Dave and Pam live in the Atlanta area with their four children. Dave enjoys playing games and working jigsaw puzzles with their kids, reading, and most anything dealing with Star Trek. Pam enjoys volunteer ushering at Atlanta theaters, scrapbooking, reading, and couponing. Visit their personal web site at http://clmnet.clm.org/staff/daver.nsf for more information

Claim to fame

Dave: His life goal and dream (before Jesus got a hold of him!) was to be an astronaut and fighter pilot. He began flying when he was 17, and even has 1/2 hour of multi-engine jet time in a T-37 when he was in the Air Force Reserve Officers Training Corp. He resigned 3 months before graduation from university. He doesn't regret getting to "turn and burn" in a hot plane, but still feels "the need for speed" from time-to-time.

Pam: Is an unusually gifted bargain shopper. She once managed to buy over $150 worth of groceries for $1.43.
