Since 1997, Jim and Anne have served with FC as consultants to the University of South Carolina Christian Faculty Initiative , after 30 years of work within higher education. He has been Adjunct Professor in World Religions for Columbia Biblical Seminary and served as Academic Dean of the Mexico Biblical Seminary in Puebla , Mexico .

Jim and Anne work today to help Christians in academia recognize their calling in the secular university and help provide resources and encouragement for them in fulfilling that calling. Prayer, hospitality within their home, and efforts to befriend professors and help them grow spiritually are some of Anne’s key contributions.

The Wengers are based in Columbia , South Carolina near their three adult sons. Their daughter lives in Colorado . There are six grandchildren who keep them young at heart and who are the focus of some very special investments for eternity. Music, reading, and hiking are additional sources of enjoyment for Anne and Jim.
